A Tale of A113

One of the least known Pixar and Disney Easter eggs is A113. What is A113 you ask? For those of you who are unfortunately living under a rock, A113 is kind of an inside joke among animators who happen to be CalArts alumni. It's a graphic and design classroom at CalArts that is currently being used for first year students. You can find in different movies like Hunger Games or even Doctor Who, but I'm not going to focus on those. I'm only concerned with educating you on Disney and Pixar movies today.

Toy Story (1995)

While Flik keeps looking for warriors, you need to keep your eyes peeled for A113.

This one is a bit trickier. It isn't something you can see but listen to the announcement concerning LassetAir Flight A113.

Every car in this movie from Nani's car to Cobra Bubbles' rental car have an A113 license plate. How this is possible no one knows, but it is still pretty cool.

P.S. There is also an A113 in Meet the Robinsons (2007), but I couldn't find a picture. It's on the license plate of Cornelius' adopted parents' car. Another one is in Saving Mr. Banks. P.L. Travers flies from Los Angles to London on the stylish Flight BTA-113.
