Snow White With the Red Hair

I've recently discovered an anime called Snow White With The Red Hair. It's now one of my favorites. It is a twist on the traditional fairy tale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It follows the adventures of Shirayuki, a court herbalist in the kingdom of Clarines, and Zen, the second prince of Clarines. The second season recently came out and has been releasing dubbed episodes every Monday which is super exciting. I showed it to my little sister, so now we are both hooked and watch the latest episodes when they come out.

Main Characters:

Shirayuki:

Shirayuki has unusual red hair that gets her into trouble at the beginning of the series. Her hair catches the eyes of the first prince of Tanburn, Prince Raj, causing her to flee for her freedom and run into Zen on the way to the border of Tanburn and Clarines.

Prince Zen Wistalia:

Prince Zen is the second in line for the throne of Clarines. Even though he takes his duties as the prince seriously, he often sneaks off into the woods to kick back and practice sword fighting. He often hangs out in an abandoned house in the woods where he first meets Shirayuki and befriends her after accidentally eating a poisoned apple meant for her.

Mitsuhide Lowen:

Mitsuhide is one of Zen's closest aides who was appointed by Zen's older brother. He is extremely loyal to his friend and does what he can to help Zen out. He is very clumsy at times and has feelings for Kiki, another aide of Zen.

Kiki Seiran:

Kiki is another one of Zen's closest aides who arrived at court after Mitsuhide. Even though she is extremely independent, reserved, and sarcastic, she is very loyal to Zen and does everything she can to protect him.

Obi:

Obi is a self-proclaimed aide to Zen. After being sent to scare Shirayuki out of the castle, he pledges his loyalty to Zen once he is discovered. He is a loner who often finds himself protecting Shirayuki and Zen and their goals. He is extremely athletic and can be seen moving with extreme agility.
